| Android OS Development
Finally the long waited phone with Android OS is officially available. The Android OS is an open source Operating System for mobile phones.
We are building several applications for Google's Android OS. It looks promising, the phone runs Java and no native software. This is the only disadvantage we found until now. We loved the iPhone now for a year but the fact we have no reception in the office makes it useless as a phone. Apple seems to spend all money on marketing instead of innovation and makes the lives of us developers really difficult. Hopefully the Android OS will make Apple realize they are on the wrong track.

The ScreenShot application for the iPhone works very simple, two buttons show up on the screen. One button allows you to snap the current screen, the other shows the snapshot's in a list allowing you to delete or view them instantly.

Free Guitar Tuner for the iPhone
Just tap one of the buttons and a correct tone in the correct frequency for the string is played. Simple but working.
A little application to help you tune your six string guitar was missing for the iPhone. Someone is probably making one but we didn't want to wait for that.
The one we made is very basic, it just contains six buttons (for every string one button) and if you tap the button it plays the corresponding note.

| Computer Theft Prevention
Thousands of computers are stolen every day. Nearly all companies will face this problem. Now that computers get smaller and have wireless internet connections they become more and more attractive to thieves.
We decided that it was time to fight back against those criminals. For a company not the loss of a laptop but the data on it might be the biggest damage. Confidential information might get in wrong hands.
The solution became a complete security system for companies covers not only the theft of laptops but also allows everyone behind a computer to quickly send a message (discreet with a few mouseclicks) about the nature of the alarm to the companies alarm server.

Voice Reponse Systems
Robota Softwarehouse developed an on-line payment system based on the telephone, allowing customers to pay through a paying telephone number to access an on-line service or to purchase goods for little amounts of money, without having to use credit cards.
Have a look at www.vrouwenkoopjes.nl to see an example of a website using this system (we made the website too). The system is used to place advertisements on the site (upgrade payment) but also to place a banner (the longer you call, the longer your banner stays).
